Cup of Coffee Programming Note

Hey all – there will be no newsletter today and there will likely not be one tomorrow either.

No, this is not because I overdid it moving that desk over the weekend. It's because my mom was hospitalized in the wee hours yesterday morning which means that the Adult Child Takes Care of Elderly Parents Protocol has been officially activated. Everything is stable right now and, assuming it stays that way, I'll give y'all an update and resume publishing later in the week, but obviously work stuff is taking a backseat to managing one sick parent and one very concerned parent for a couple of days.

In the meantime, talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic:

Will buying and wearing these PRIDE-related baseball and/or soccer shirts, the proceeds of which go to support The Trevor Project and TransLifeline, better communicate our support of our friends and family in the LGBTQ+ community or will it piss off the black-hearted haters more? Followup question: does it make any difference? Discuss.

Thanks for supporting good causes. And thanks for understanding that real life interrupts our usual farting around sometimes.
